Scrambler

Scramblers have always been somewhat the bastard child of the custom family when the most recent scene kicked off. Cafe Racers and Trackers where the favourites, playing with the other bikes on the streets while the Scrambler was left playing …I think think there is change in the air with custom VMX and Scrambler becoming the the customisation of choice by a lot of backyard builds popping up along with the big shops like Bratstyle.

Small capacity scramblers make me feel kinda funny. If I spoke to my shrink it would probably relate back to my early childhood riding my BMX down the local track with a piece of card held against the back tyre …I've written about how much fun it is riding smaller bikes , but there is something satisfying knowing you're getting the most of the tiny engine.

The Rat unfinished look is becoming increasingly popular amongst the custom moto scene. I mean it's always been around amongst the bobber/chopper crew.

I love what these guys are doing at the moment. Here's their modern take on a Ducati 350 Scrambler, yet still maintaining it's original heritage as a Scrambler.

We took the Yamaha RS125 down to the local flats to run it through it's paces. With no regard to his own safety Hilto bravely volunteered.
