SRX250

We found this bike on ebay as a stock 1987 Yamaha SRX250. I was pretty excited to win the bike at a fairly low price even though there wasn’t much information at the time about this particular model.

The Experiment is finally up and running. It was our most challenging bike so far in terms of the electrics.

Getting so close to finishing this project off. The tank and seat are now primed and ready for the base color.

One of the best parts about working on bikes are ordering and getting the parts delivered. Finally received the new chain and sprockets for The Experiment.

The Experiment is finally on it's way to looking like a bike again. We've had a few other projects on the go so it's good to finalise a few things.

Some updates from the Garage. We have been working on getting all the main components for the Expriment cleaned up ready for assembly back onto the bike.

Busy day today among other things, we managed to work out the headlight situation and fab and weld up a mont for it. Picked up this headlight in Japan that we wanted to use, just loved the blue lens.

Today was a good day. Started off with an early ride on the Legbreaker around the traps, whilst smoking out the neighbourhood with the smell of two stroke, I bumped into an elderly couple.
